I Was interested in booking for several up upcoming events. Arrived at sunset and the view over the vineyard was spectacular. I spoke with the hostess/manager/burned out employee to share the reason for my visit. She was nice but seemed distracted. Regardless, I roamed the property And was outside taking photos of the view when I was yelled at from across the parking lot by the same manager who informed me “picture taking was not allowed” nor is being on the property just to Look around. She approached me like it was the first time she had met or talked to me. Well its safe to say, I wont be going back. Maybe I didn’t fit their idea of a future guest. Little does she know I am a photographer by trade and had planned to help them with their brochure after seeing how poorly the photos represented the true essence. I planned to forward the pictures for their exclusive use.
Look nowhere else for the perfect spot to spend a weekend away. The Black Walnut perfectly marries relaxing and low-key vibes, with immaculate high-end accommodations, finishes & linens, all with immaculate attention to detail and superior service. The fire pits and multiple sprawling multiple patios (enough so all guests still have their own privacy), all overlooking rolling vineyard land provide perfect eye candy to waste away afternoons into evenings, or to start your morning. The rooms are top-notch, with the spacious high-end suites well worth the price of upgrading. The food is exceptional, fresh and more than holds its own with the rest of the experience. Black Walnut Inn is alone in its class as the best location in Oregon.
When you visit Black Walnut Inn, you will often ask yourself, "Is this real life?" Words do not do it justice. The Black Walnut Inn has panoramic views, superb food, and warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable staff. They have thought of everything to make your experience unforgettable. Of all places I've visited, I've never been happier or more relaxed staying at the Black Walnut Inn and visiting the Willamette Valley! We cannot wait to come back!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful two night stay. Everything was top quality: gorgeous view of vineyards, Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson from our balcony, and outstanding , friendly service from the staff. We enjoyed the farm-to-table gourmet dinner on the patio, excellent wine selection, and breakfasts in the airy dining room. Everything was spotlessly clean and we were able to forget Covid-19 for a couple days. It's a bit out of the way, through the Dundee Hills wine area. Our only disappointment was most tasting rooms were closed on Monday.
Beautiful grounds with a beautiful view. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable room. Win Win all around.
